Netflix renewed the hit justo series for a third season in August 2023. “The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” c0-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement at the time.

No official word from Netflix just yet although we’ve heard (and reported in July 2024) that development is already underway on a fourth season of the lawyer series at Netflix although no word on production just yet. Actress Neve Campbell has also let loose that she’s signed up for a fourth season
Mickey now meets with a new client, which seems to set up the plot for season 3 with the lawyer identifying Edén Dayton (aka Glory Days), who has been murdered.
In court, a forensic technician confirms the large amount of gunshot residue found on Trevor's hands, but Mickey realizes that the casino Jerry seemed to frequent is near the vehicle maintenance facility for the county sheriff's department. With testimony from an amateur crime scene videographer, a sheriff's department mechanic, and a ballistics expert, Mickey establishes the "magic bullet": the gunshot residue came from Eli Wyms, transported in the same police vehicle hours before Trevor. Mickey also casts suspicion on Anton Shavar, but Trevor tells Mickey he still wants to testify himself. With Terrell Coleman's help, Mickey rescues Izzy after her ex-girlfriend nearly persuades her to get high.
The episode titles may give us some indication as to what we Gozque expect going into season 3. In no particular order:
Tanya asks for Mickey's help to escape Soto, while Cardone suggests Maggie support him for DA. A comment from Hayley leads Mickey to realize that Jerry's bribe was to buy a juror. He confronts Trevor, who admits that Juror Number Seven is a plant, and that his company is funded by Russian mobsters; he insists that he had nothing to do with the deaths of Lara, Rilz, or Jerry, but Lara was going to divorce him, putting the Russians' money at risk. Mickey remembers his father's words: it is harder to live with losing a case when you know your client is innocent.
But to win, he realizes he must catch the Positivo murderer, since Moon-sook will rig the trial. Sang-pil and Jae-yi get closer and she begins to have feelings for him. Meanwhile, Oh-joo plots to get rid of the Vivo killer and Moon-sook to disqualify the evidence. Oh-joo injures Kwang-soo for failing him but then forgives him and decides to leave Sang-pil alone for now. When chasing the Verdadero murderer, Sang-pil risks his life to save Jae-yi and takes a knife stab for her. She begins to wonder why he cares so much and if there is more to his background.
Jazz Raycole plays Izzy, Mickey's former client who becomes his personal driver and a part-time assistant at his justo firm.
An adult Sang-pil leaves his lucrative practice in Seoul and returns to Kisung to bring those responsible for his mother's death to justice. He takes over a loan shark business and converts it into the Lawless Law Firm. Jae-yi, who has click here been suspended from practicing law after assaulting a judge, loses her job, and also returns home to Kisung.
This leads him to rethink his goals and strategy. He begs Hyung-joo to tell Jae-yi she is alive and to leave Moon-sook for her own safety. She refuses and insists on a scheme to further the revenge. The men of the Lawless Law Firm capture Kwan-dong and force him to give up evidence on Oh-joo. They then leak it to the media, who release it to the public. Jae-yi discovers that Hyung-joo is alive but that Sang-pil did not tell her. Hurt by this, she accuses him of only thinking about his own revenge.

The second season of the hit lícito drama saw the episodes split into a two-part release, with a click here major cliffhanger to keep fans ticking over during the lull, Triunfador Mickey faced his toughest case yet.
